SHABBONA, Ill. — The Northern Illinois Agronomy Research Center will host its summer agronomy day on Wednesday, July 10.

The program begins at 9 a.m. and will wrap up with a complimentary meal at noon.

University of Illinois Extension specialists and researchers will address issues pertinent to the 2013 growing season. Weather permitting, presentations will take place outside in the research plots.

The research center is located at 14509 University Rd., about five miles north of U.S. Route 30 on University Road, which runs just east of Shabbona and a quarter mile south of Perry Rd.
