INDIANAPOLIS — Marion County Farm Bureau Inc. held its annual membership meeting at the Indiana Farm Bureau home office in downtown Indianapolis.

The annual meeting was a celebration of success over the year and the annual business meeting for the organization.

Following remarks by President Mike Honeycutt, District Director Scott Trenepohl gave attendees district and state updates and congratulated the Marion County board and membership on a successful year of events.

Elections and installation of officers was held during the business session, and two county board spots were filled.

Ryan Westerfeld was elected vice president, and Raylee Honeycutt was reelected to her current role as education and outreach leader. Both will begin serving their board roles at the start of the new membership year.

A special report was given on the Decatur 4-H club’s garden project. Nearly 500 pounds of produce were grown and donated during the growing year.

The 4-H garden project was largely funded through the support of the Marion County Farm Bureau.
