The July 19 storm, which was very isolated, brought some strong winds with it. It blew over some corn in the northern part of Kane County. Rainfall was around four-tenths.

The following Monday night, we had another storm roll through with some strong winds with it, too, but I haven’t seen any crop damage out of it. We got around two-tenths with that storm.

Corn is mostly all tasseled. Pollination is about 50 percent. Soybeans are still looking good, even with the lack of rains. Wheat is, for the most part, all done in the area. Yields were in the 80 to 90 range.
