CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — A group of Bane-Welker Equipment employees and Case IH representatives traveled to Racine, Wis., to present customer Gerry Forsythe with his shiny, new Silver Case IH Magnum tractor.

The Case IH Magnum 315 CVT model is the 150,000th off the line and was sold to Forsythe by Greg Strohm of the Terre Haute Bane-Welker location.

Forsythe is an American businessman and was born in Marshall, Ill. He has a farming heritage, as well as many other business interests, including auto racing.

He owns an extensive assortment of tractors in a private collection, and in 2008, in a similar presentation at the Racine plant, he purchased the Magnum 20th anniversary Gold Signature 305 model.

“We feel very fortunate to do business with Mr. Forsythe,” said Phil Bane, CEO of Bane-Welker Equipment. “Our salespeople do a tremendous job, and Greg Strohm has taken good care of Mr. Forsythe through the years. It’s an honor to be the dealer to sell the 150,000th Magnum off the line.”

Bane-Welker, an agriculture equipment company and Case IH dealer, offers new and used equipment, service and customer support.

The 47-year-old company has Indiana locations in Crawfordsville, LaCrosse, Lebanon, Remington, Terre Haute, Pendleton, Plymouth, Winamac and Wingate.
