INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Barn Foundation recently awarded two 2020 Mauri Williamson Barn Preservation grants. The foundation annually awards two matching grants of $2,500, so the recipients of the award will match those funds from another source or in-kind labor.
The two recipients of the 2020 grants were Andrew and Lisa Metheny of Sullivan County and John Jay Biggs of Marshall County.
“We are so excited to award these very deserving recipients grants for their barn restorations,” said Kent Yeager, president of the Indiana Barn Foundation.
“We are happy so many people are hearing about our grant program, and it just shows the commitment by Hoosiers to restore what was once a historic piece of their counties.”
