Sycamore High School’s agricultural education program and its educators received national recognition.
The DeKalb County Board proclaimed its support and intent to promote the development and maintenance of agriculture in the county. The proclamation was presented to the manager of DeKalb County Farm Bureau, Greg Millburg, during the DeKalb County Board meeting.
It’s been less than a year since three industrial solar energy projects were approved for 6,000 acres of land in DeKalb County, and conversations on the future of more renewable energy projects in the area continue.
Faculty for Sycamore Community School District 427′s agriculture program were thanked during a recent School Board meeting for elevating the district’s program to a nationally recognized level.
