Giving thanks to Hoosier agriculture teachers

TRAFALGAR, Ind. — To thank Hoosier agriculture teachers for everything they have done and been through the last several months, Indiana FFA and the Agriculture Education Program have been working hard to express their gratitude.

“We appreciate our teachers and recognize how hard it’s been this year,” said Lisa Chaudion, who serves as the executive director of the Indiana FFA Foundation.

Thanks to a grant and generous donations from Spriestersbach Farm Corp. and several others, they have been able to put together 350 gift packages for all the agriculture teachers in the state, as well as the freshmen in the agricultural education programs at Purdue University and Huntington University.

Chaudion said the gift package is full of goodies, including a gift card and other treats.

They try to recognize and show gratitude for agriculture teachers whenever they can, she said.

Hoosier agriculture teachers work hard all the time to help agriculture students become better, Chaudion said.
