ST. LOUIS — Supported by industry-leading breeding advancements and extensive agronomic resources, the new 2022 products from the DEKALB and Asgrow brands are focused on maximizing farmer yield potential and profitability.
The new entries further strengthen the brands’ current corn and soybean lineups that feature exclusive genetics, along with a customized approach to tailored seed solutions, to help farmers protect their crops and promote performance throughout the growing season.
DEKALB will launch 27 new corn products for next season across all maturity groups, offering standability, drought tolerance and disease resistance.
“The DEKALB brand provides premier, performance-protected products that deliver consistent high yield and ROI potential,” said DEKALB brand manager Kathleen McKittrick.
Top new DEKALB products for Indiana include DKC57-29RIB, DKC62-69RIB, DKC62-70RIB and DKC65-84RIB brand blends.
DEKALB products for 2022 will include — at no additional cost to farmers — Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions ELITE with Enhanced Disease Control, which is designed to help improve and extend early-to-midseason disease control by reducing infections from pathogens.
It is seamlessly included in 100% of the DEKALB corn portfolio, which has shown a 3.7 bushel per acre advantage nationwide compared to products without this seed treatment.
Twenty-four new Asgrow XtendFlex soybean products are being launched for 2022, raising the total number to 71 varieties for next growing season.
XtendFlex, the latest soybean technology from Bayer, is a triple-stacked soybean trait containing tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate to provide more flexibility to help control tough weeds.
Clint Chaffer, Asgrow brand manager, said the 2022 product lineup also features resistance to the top soybean diseases, including white mold, Phytophthora, brown stem rot and iron deficiency chlorosis.
“All Asgrow XtendFlex products offer exclusive genetics, defensive traits and agronomic solutions to help push performance potential and profitability across all maturity groups,” Chaffer said.
Leading new Asgrow XtendFlex products for Indiana include Ag35XF1, AG38XF1 and AG48XF0 brands.
