ISA, SRIN partner to thank farmers during harvest

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Soybean Association and Soybean Research & Information Network are teaming up again this harvest season to help farmers enhance and protect soybean yield through access to the latest checkoff-supported research.

ISA is partnering with SRIN to thank Illinois farmers for their efforts to help feed the world.

This fall, growers are encouraged to watch for ISA’s thank you — a lunchbox filled with snacks, a drink and all the information they need on the latest in soybean research from around the country.

ISA’s simple message to farmer recipients? We’ll feed you the information that helps you feed the world.

Together with SRIN, ISA will be delivering 5,000 lunch boxes to 111 Illinois grain elevators.

The lunch boxes will reach farmers in 106 cities, covering 47 counties across the state, including Boone, Cass, Christian, Coles, DeKalb, Ford, Kane, Kendall, Macon, McHenry, McLean, Piatt, Sangamon, St. Clair, Warren and Winnebago.

“We are so excited to partner with SRIN to provide harvest snacks and information about the great checkoff-funded soybean research happening in Illinois and around the country,” said ISA Agronomy Programs Manager Megan Miller.

“Be sure to keep the soybean defoliator guides in your truck for soybean scouting next spring.”
