The 2023 Soybean Summit: All Stars Edition, funded by the Illinois Soybean Association checkoff program, gives growers from across the state the opportunity to gain agronomic information and insights from leading soybean experts across the country.
Topics include yield-increasing practices with precision, pest management, understanding biological products, the future of conservation and nutrient management, navigation of the carbon space, value-added with high yield soybean opportunities, Science for Success participants, as well as exclusive farmer panels.
For the first time, the Soybean Summit will host an undergraduate and graduate student research poster competition with cash awards for first, second and third place.
Attendees are also encouraged to participate in a canned food drive to benefit the Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
The Soybean Summit will be held Feb. 2 at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign.
Better Beans
The Better Beans Series, funded by the ISA checkoff program, are half-day, in-person events held around the state of Illinois. These sessions bring local soybean knowledge from Certified Crop Advisers, agronomists, industry experts and farmers.
Participants will receive local agronomic insight and the tools they need to improve profitability and achieve high yields. Association updates will also be provided from the ISA Agronomy Team.
Better Beans events will take place: Jan. 11 in Bloomington, Jan. 25 in Quincy and Feb. 23 in Carbondale. Registration for Better Beans events is also available at ILSoyAdvisor.com.
Continuing Education Unit credits will be available at both events for CCAs in attendance.
