Save the date: Indiana Barn Foundation tour coming to Miami County

PERU, Ind. — The Indiana Barn Foundation’s annual tour will feature the Circus Hall of Fame and six heritage barns this year.

Guests can admire and learn about each barn on the self-guided tour, which includes two learning labs. Attendees will hear from a preservation expert on how to assess a barn’s rehabilitation needs.

“The Indiana Barn Foundation is excited to be highlighting these wonderful historic barns of Miami County,” said Kent Yeager, Indiana Barn Foundation president.

“The annual tour remains popular and provides a fun yet effective way to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the historic barns and rural heritage of the Hoosier State.”

Indiana Barn Foundation Annual Barn Tour

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14.

Where: Tour headquarters and day-of registration at the International Circus Hall of Fame, 3076 E. Circus Lane, Peru, Indiana.

Cost: Advance tickets are $15 per person for Indiana Barn Foundation members, $20 per person for nonmembers. Day-of tour tickets are $20, available at tour headquarters.
