New at the State Fair

Guests can enjoy the Great American Duck Race at the Indiana State Fair.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Fair announced 14 new attractions for 2024, bringing more excitement and fun than ever.

Families can cool off and have fun at a new, permanent fixture at the fair — a splash pad at MHS Family Fun Park. Bonus points: it’s agriculture themed.

“The splash pad represents a new chapter in our consistent efforts to enhance the guest experience at the Indiana State Fair,” said Anna Whelchel, fair spokesperson.

“We invite everyone to come and enjoy this exciting addition, creating memories that will last a lifetime.”

In addition to the splash pad, guests will find an variety of new attractions this year, including an outdoor cinema and animal adventures.

All of these attractions and events are free for fairgoers to enjoy with paid fair admission:

• State Fair splash pad

• Gold & Glory 100th anniversary — Aug. 2

• Celebrating the Beatles Day — Aug. 3

• Illuminate! Outdoor Lantern Exhibit — an outdoor lantern display

• Outdoor movie theater
