INDIANAPOLIS — To help celebrate June as National Dairy Month, the American Dairy Association of Indiana will be do something completely new and different.
Brooke Williams, the director of communications for the ADAI, said the association will be launching the Indiana Cheese Trail on June 10.
The trail will focus on 10 different cheese shops and operations around the state, Williams said.
“We are hoping more Indiana residents and other individuals will learn more about milk, cheese and dairy products in Indiana,” Williams said.
The trail will help individuals learn where they can buy locally produced cheese and put a spotlight on farm family operations and their delicious cheese.
Williams said the goal is to eventually add more to the cheese trail. Right now, a couple of the cheese stops can only be seen virtually.
