8 tips for a great trip

The National Farm Machinery Show brings in over 800 exhibitors featuring the latest agricultural products each year.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than 800 exhibitors will be featured at this year’s National Farm Machinery Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville Feb. 14-17.

Around 300,000 people are expected to attend the free event, which has an estimated economic impact of $24.2 million.

Attendees will see the latest in agricultural technology while hearing from industry experts.

“As always, we thank the farmers who work tirelessly to provide for the world,” said David Beck, president and CEO of Kentucky Venues.

“Your work can often be overlooked, but it is invaluable and essential. We believe this show is just the beginning of an incredibly successful year and we invite you to visit us soon.”

8 Quick Tips

1. When you arrive, grab a free Farm Show Guide. Circle some of the events or stops you are most interested in seeing.

2. The event is free, but bring $12 for parking.

3. Follow the National Farm Machinery Show Facebook page for updates.

4. Wear comfortable shoes — it’s a huge event, so there will be a lot of walking.

5. Make sure your phone is charged and ready to take photos — there will be a lot to photograph at the show.

6. Visit the Gift and Craft Market in the South Wing between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Vendors will sell items including fashion, toys, collectibles, snacks and more. The market is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

7. If you can’t attend in person, live stream the Championship Tractor Pull at watchpulling.tv.
