WATERMAN, Ill. — The Waterman Lions Club’s 24th annual Summerfest and Antique Tractor and Truck Show will be Saturday, July 20, at Waterman Lions Park, 420 S. Birch St., Waterman.
The club will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding during the show.
This year’s show will have the traditional events such as 7 a.m. breakfast by Shabbona Community Church, kids’ show, drive a tractor, pedal pull, music by live bands, food concession, barbecue by Fay’s Finest Foods, beer garden and a fireworks show.
There will be a craft and flea market, antique farm exhibits, tractor pull by Weak End Antique Pullers and the Parade of Power led by farm broadcaster Max Armstrong.
New attractions include the addition of the Northwest Illinois chapter of the American Historical Truck Society, which will hold their annual show in conjunction with the Waterman Lions show.
