Record corn yield for Indiana farmer

Kevin Kalb, high yielding corn farmer from southern Indiana.

ST. LOUIS — Indiana corn farmer Kevin Kalb achieved a record yield for his farm and the overall highest non-irrigated yield with 425 bushels per acre in the National Corn Growers Association 2023 National Corn Yield Contest using DEKALB DKC68-35RIB Brand Blend.

“It’s phenomenal to see growers like Kevin Kalb who consistently produce these high yields year after year,” said Jamie Horton, DEKALB brand manager.

“We congratulate Kevin on his hard work and determination, and we’re thrilled he chooses to partner with us for products with exclusive genetics.”

The NCGA National Corn Yield Contest program helps farmers break performance boundaries and unlock the seed’s full potential while learning to optimize and improve management practices, Horton said.
